Guys.. Friday was basically ‘earnings + momentum’ back on the menu.

S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed April at fresh records — Nasdaq up ~15% for the month, S&P up ~10%.

That’s not a typo.

Apple beat + guided higher.. and the whole tape got that “risk is OK again” vibe.

But here’s the real signal vs noise:

When leaders are putting up numbers, dips get bought fast.

Watch the rates + oil combo this week though.

Higher oil → higher inflation → Fed stays tight longer → growth stocks feel it first.

And with Powell stepping down May 15 and Warsh taking over: new Fed chair, same inflation problem.

Watch how the market reads that leadership transition.

Volatility creates opportunity.. just don’t confuse a strong month with a straight-line market.

TRUMP WILLING TO END THE WAR WITHOUT REOPENING THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ

WSJ reporting Trump is prepared to end the conflict even if the Strait of Hormuz stays closed.

His focus: take out Iran's navy and missile stockpiles, then exit.

Diplomatic pressure and allies would handle the Strait situation after.

US futures jumping on the news, but let's see how markets react later because with how he's flip flopping, markets don't really believe him much now (like yesterday)

In the last 48 hours, headlines went from ground troops... to ceasefire... to peace talks... to Strait of Hormuz threats... and now back to ceasefire again.

This is what a headline-driven market looks like.

Price is no longer moving on fundamentals — it's moving on political rhetoric that changes every few hours.

And when the message shifts that fast, prediction becomes a losing game.

You don't need to catch every bounce.
You don't need to react to every headline.

What you need is to stay disciplined, stay ready, and trust that strong companies will still be strong on the other side of this noise.

Preparation matters more than prediction right now.

Hey everyone,

I know it's tough being invested right now... The ding-dong headlines keep coming, and it feels like there's no light at the end of the tunnel

But this will pass. It always does

If you're feeling scared or uncertain, it usually comes down to one of two things:

- You're holding speculative names hoping for a quick win
- You're overleveraged, or have taken on more risk than you truly understand

Be honest with yourself. Use this time to reflect. Were you too greedy?

If you fall into either camp, take this as a lesson. Write it down. Don't repeat it.

If you don't, then your focus right now is simple. Identify your buy points and DCA in steadily.

Build wealth in a way that allows you to not have sleepless nights.

Ok guys we have more stuff coming in right now, want to keep you guys aware + my action plan:

- Reports coming in that Israel has just hit Iran gas facilities, Iran threatening strikes on Middle East energy assets
- Oil + inflation risk rising on this news, + PPI earlier
- Rate HIKES by European Central Bank are now being priced in (it used to just be rate cuts and now hikes are on the table)
- All eyes point to Powell speaking later. If Powell leans cautious (very likely), markets may interpret it as rate cuts delayed/higher-for-longer narrative reinforced

My take:

Don’t panic.

We’re in extreme fear now - this is where mistakes happen. Noise are getting louder. But remember 3 important guiding principles:

- Volatility is part of the game
- Quality companies don’t change overnight
- If your positions are solid, your edge is holding power

IMO there are opportunities forming right now, some that I’ve been waiting months for are finally opening up.

PPI CAME IN HOTTER THAN EXPECTED

What is PPI?
- Measures inflation at the supplier level (what businesses pay for goods/services)
- When suppliers face higher costs, they often pass them to consumers
- It's an early signal for CPI (consumer inflation)

Today's numbers:
- PPI rose more than expected
- Core PPI also came in strong
- Services inflation (transport, logistics) stayed elevated

What it means:
- Rate cuts could be delayed
- Upcoming CPI might also come in hotter than expected

This will create some near-term pressure. Now we wait to see what Powell says..

Hey everyone,

Some thoughts before the week starts that I think would help you:

- Trump escalated the war situation on Fri by attacking Kharg Island, which controls about 90% of Iran’s oil exports

- Latest info suggests war could last “a couple of weeks” - markets typically don’t take it well

- Prolonged conflict → more oil supply disruption → higher oil prices → higher inflation

- I know some of you are thinking about waiting since there’s no clear sign the conflict is ending yet. But remember, markets move fast. All it takes is one headline about de-escalation

- Despite all the noisy headlines, volatility creates opportunity. If a business is fundamentally strong, chances are it will continue to do well long term

- The big picture hasn’t changed. AI demand is still very real, and we’re seeing that clearly in recent companies earnings

- The key is to DCA prudently and don't show hand
