Whether you’re a true writer doesnt have anything to do with technique, it has everything to do with knowledge. A writer deep down should be a linguist. He knows not of writing, he knows of words – the word. As it was is and will be – he knows of language.
Once the writer knows his language he embeds, and entombs, himself in the pantheon of something more grand, and viral, than time itself.
The writer knows no age, and it is only because he knows the age he lives in himself. And he knows, and hears, the vapors of the fuming whispers of its come hither word.

DESERVE

The English verb "deserve" originates from the Latin verb deservire, which is composed of the prefix de- meaning "completely" or "thoroughly," and servire meaning "to serve." Thus, the original Latin sense was "to serve well" or "to serve zealously"-essentially to serve completely or fully

This Latin term evolved in Late Latin to mean "be entitled to because of good service," implying a right or merit earned through service. From Latin, it passed into Old French as deservir (Modern French desservir), carrying the sense "to deserve, be worthy of, earn, merit." The word entered Middle English as deserven around the 13th century, retaining the meaning "to merit or be worthy of something by qualities or actions"

The root servire itself comes from Latin servus meaning "slave" or "servant," originally meaning "to be a slave or be in service." This root likely traces back to Proto-Italic serwo- meaning "shepherd" or "guardian," and ultimately to the Proto-Indo-European root ser- meaning "to guard" or "protect." Over time, the term's connotation shifted from servitude to devoted service and then to merit or worthiness based on that service.

In summary, "deserve" literally means "to serve completely" and figuratively "to be worthy of or entitled to something because of good or complete service." This semantic development reflects a progression from literal service to a broader sense of merit and entitlement

Twilight of Summer

He’s not late, he’s not early, but he’s walking briskly
He’s wearing his cap, his shades, gorgio armani
it’s summer, the sun is high and fierce and bright
but still he sees
to his right a little boy, who could not have been older
than two or perhaps three years, he’s also wearing glasses
and he’s fully in the sun and he sees the man
for what he truly is, Just play in the sun
enjoy the summer while it lasts
make the most of every season before they pass
the penultimate nietzschean avatar knows this
and with innocent intuition he knows what comes next
and the man like all adults is left in the shadows
of ignorance

but then he comes alive
because the little boy passes
the ball
with such sublime force and perfect connection
the man smirks fully and he almost wants to smile broadly
the joy piercing through his stoney mask
he shows the boy what it means to play
try to make the most of this while it lasts
he gives him the two touch
one tap to stop the ball and instantly pass
the ball back, just like he was learned watching
other kids and adults play football while he was stuck in class
studying, inside, reading and writing, watching
each and every summer pass
passing latin exams, studying cicero
getting his masters, in building bridges
each and every summer pass, and the fleeting joy fluttered
away too

the curse of summers that never last
the curse of summers made of glass
fracture and blow away into a blast of the past

but all came in reversal and everything was meant for this
moment of a little boy with the perfect pass
now with a smile toying on his lips
the man feels something he knows does not last
he thinks he knows of it, what it means,

he hopes and remembers

he dreams he plays he walks briskly pasted
the little boy with the ball in the sun
at the square next to the house where he grew up
the sun refracting on his shades
I have to go now, immerse with the adults

this twinge in his heart breathes the light
of all summers past
it breathes the twilight of all summers to come
where all men become boys again
and boys become men
to play in the shadow of the sun
knowing this will never pass.

I have taken a bit of a backburning on publishing anything to be honest.

haha this does not mean I am not writing not running not training not vibing not spreading powerful good Heroic NRG.

Couple touch-ons, re what I have posted this year, that poem that is published I am compounding on that. More to come.

I am still running marathons. I am currently on the road to my sixth.

I could simply make content on that. But that is currently not at the fore of my mind atm. Trust me when you're running so much, you have no desire to stare in a camera and talk about it.

Smth spiritually weak about people training like an athlete and then wanting to talk about it the next second.

Furthermore I am a big proponent of Active recovery, it enables one to never be truly off. Even on so called 'off days'. This way you can always be ON. And the world needs to you to be on, on YOUR game 24/7 - I am a big proponent of moving w/o moving; being moved, by the world, the universal laws and God.

This year I've run a lot. More than someone perhaps could in their entire life. Volume, intensity, and frequency. This year I entered the realm of ultrarunning. Clocking in three backyard ultras - 50 kilometer stuff [33 miles]. And it simple means I have to take recover that much more serious, and it means I improve that much faster.

I recently set an accidental record for a 5K, with a 4m40s/km pace. That is all downstream from my endeavours.

And, on top of all this, it's never about the running. It's about the universal man. Diving deep to the core of one's being and finding what it means to be human, and unlocking one's full potential.

This requires stillness, explosiveness, training, breathing, stretching all that.

World is hectic; stay frosty out there. Do not focus on the noise. Focus on instead that which is uself and vital and that which is yours, your signal.

Make yourself better and those around you.
