As soon as you join, Look for a message from
https://t.me/OrgRobot in the group, asking you to complete a quiz. It should be directly on your screen, saying 'Start Quiz' underneath. Click that button. It will be asking you in the # General topic, pinned at the top of the list of topics in the group. Once the OrgRobot has said you are done successfully with the quiz, you will be in the Infants group, but in View as Messages mode, and unable to write a message. There is a '...' menu at the top-right: choose View as Topics. Then you will see the # General topic at the top, and be able to tap that, and write your introduction. [This is just one of those Telegram issues we have no control over.]
TLDR: Do the Quiz, then write a full & unique introduction pertinent to the topic of the group, in the # General topic area pinned on the top of the list of topics. If you cannot see the # topic, you need to update your Telegram app. The Quiz Bot will only wait 3 minutes for you to find the 'Start Test' button, but will give you ample time to complete the quiz (20 minutes). You have the remaining time to write your intro (about another 10 minutes).
Use the Search menu in the group, to search existing questions and answers, to see if someone has already answered it. Put your words or phrase in double-quotes to find it exactly. To browse previously uploaded documents, PDF's and files, tap on the group name, then Files.
The group is, what Telegram terms 'private'. To help you understand what that actually means, aside from reading the Telegram Terms of Service, there are new tools, provided by Telegram due to pressure, to censor public content on the platform's public groups. Plus public groups invite spam attacks. To that end:
If there are issues unresolved through discussion or DM's in-chat with the people with titles, write a message and tag it '@ admin', without the space. The message will disappear from the group, for your privacy, and be replaced with 'Report Sent' - but all your hall monitors will see it, who sent it, and when.
If you click on the join button below, and get a blank screen and no response, tap the < back arrow on your phone, then tap the button again. It's a Telegram bug.
