Who are we looking for?
An amazing senior Rust engineer (m/f/x) for our SQL team who is ready to create new technologies from scratch. You will take part in exciting projects, solving challenges to create the safest and user-friendliest data security solutions on the market. We are looking for someone who thinks outside the box, challenges the norm and brings creativity, innovation and imagination to the team.
You will:
- Innovate and develop top-notch security products with reliability, security, availability and efficiency goals in mind
- Work on parsing, semantic analysis and transpilation of different SQL dialects
- Write fast, performant and secure database queries and data structures
- Work at the edge of, develop and improve technological standards, tooling, and processes across the company
- Work together with a multidisciplinary team of cryptography, back-end, front-end, and QA developers
You're perfect for this role if you:
- Have strong proficiency in Rust
- Have experience working for a startup
- Have experience designing and implementing parsers and/or compilers
- Have experience with relational or non-relational databases and their supported query languages
- Possess knowledge of different data structures and understand their tradeoffs
- Understand basic cryptography concepts and encryption algorithms
- Are highly organised and thorough with critical attention to detail and documentation
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team of bright people striving to make the world a safer place
