Kotak NEO ( http://protectt.ai/) can be easily bypassed. And just for the record, it took me less than 1 hour to create this project, find the bypass and upload it :)

Clarification: It does use Applist to detect various root apps that do not rename package name such as KernelSU. It is done WITHOUT using QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission and can be found in a few banking apps as well. From my current test HideMyApplist does not fix this detection.
