claude cowork is absolutely insane

i only see people using it for trivial individual task

the crazy part is to create share folders for your whole team…

…making custom instructions to act as your team organizer / COO, and lettting it track everything getting done in your org

i can’t believe this isn’t more widespread yet

will share how we’ve done it very soon

but hint: get google drive for desktop -> make a main folder you share with your team -> make a folder-wide master document instructing cowork about how the workspace works

QUESTION:
how do you guys feel about me doing a live training on setting up a claude cowork workspace for your business?

considering doing it step by step live with everyone, and showing you exactly how you can make claude more commited to your goals than yourself

the end output is a cowork instance that knows everything about your business, about your current work, tracks everything you do, and essentially leads every single one of your team members in the right direction

it's quite a lot of work to make this into a live training, but if i see demand for this i'll start getting things together

netflix does something you should also be doing in your b2b business

whenever a new prospect enters your ecosystem, only 2 things can ultimately happen

they either reach a point where they trust you enough to buy

or they don't

if they found you through a referral, the trust is likely already there - they're close to the line before they even talk to you

but if they haven't, your system needs to do that work

you need leads to consume you - or your business - for long enough to trust you

you need their attention

you can build that through 1-1 conversations, but that doesn't scale if you're not serving a tiny niche audience

so you need to look at how you get them consuming your stuff without your time being involved

netflix are absolutely incredible at hooking users onto their platform

their average user gives away 7 hours of attention weekly

and all of it is 1-many - content sitting on a platform that keeps pulling people back in

why?

because netflix makes it unreasonably easy to keep watching

finish something?

"others who watched x also watched y”
"up next…”
"next episode in 5…"

we want to build the same thing in our b2b businesses

we get genuinely addicting business content in front of our target audience, then we engineer the next consumption moment before the first one even ends

each time you get their attention is one shot

each shot can lead into so and so many minutes consumed

but you need as many shots as possible

so you put these assets in front of them as often as you can - linkedin, email, retargeting ads across platforms

everything exists to earn one more shot

because the next shot might be the one that pushes them over the threshold

do what netflix does and watch your conversion rate skyrocket

it’s far “easier” to sell your services when you talk in person, or in general just talk 1-1 with leads

it's typically how most b2b businesses start

you do your selling yourself, all manual

then you hire someone to sell for you, all manual

and then you hire more people to sell for you, still all manual

my way of thinking around this is that you are not really selling when you’re talking with your audience

you are building trust

when there is enough trust, there is a sale

but if all your trust building is done through 1-1 interactions you don’t get to enjoy the bliss of exponential scale

imagine that the INITIAL trust you make with your audience just happened automatically

and you/your reps only talk with leads when the initial trust is built

basically making your sales process feel like you have an endless stream of referrals

that’s completely possible, you just got to create 1-MANY interactions with your audience

save the 1-1 for the actual closing

the best type of b2b marketing is ridiculously simple
but automated

your marketing has one job…

to move strangers closer to trusting you
at some point, every prospect hits their own trust threshold - a line where they go from "maybe" to "let's talk"

the reason most of your business comes from referrals is because that trust was already built through someone you both know - a shortcut through the threshold

all you need to do to get more deals is move more of your audience across that line

you can do it the old way, 1-1 outreach, bdrs, manual relationship-building - which works, but doesn't scale
or you can build infrastructure that earns trust at scale, without your time in the loop

the mechanics of doing that well get complex - but the idea behind it couldn't be simpler
