Despite Amp’s return to OGUsers and his public statement addressing the situation, many members of the community were still unhappy.

Users who had purchased ranks, upgrades, and other features on http://Usernames.org/ felt they had been misled after the forum shut down without warning. The controversy continued for weeks after his return.

Roughly 2 days later, Amp made another post attempting to address the issue.

In this thread, he announced that he would offer partial refunds to users who had purchased upgrades on http://Usernames.org/.

In the post, Amp wrote:

I am offering 50% refunds for all members who upgraded on UN.

This is compensation for the upgrades no longer being used, however, they were still lifetime of the service.

Send the username/email, and Coinpayments email or proof of transaction to be refunded 50% in BTC.”

He also clarified that the refunds would only apply to paid upgrades, excluding other purchases such as:
• UIDs
• Donation awards
• Site currency (Bits)
• Other on-site features

Amp argued that these purchases were investments within the forum itself, which had since been discontinued.

The thread quickly became another focal point for criticism.

Many users mocked the offer, arguing that the refunds should have been provided before the site was shut down, not months afterward.

Others used the thread as an opportunity to accuse Amp of scamming users through the launch and closure of http://Usernames.org/.

For many in the community, the refund announcement only reinforced the perception that the situation had been mishandled from the beginning.

In November 2021, another unusual situation occurred.

A trusted member contacted OGU staff with concerns that Amp might not actually be the one operating his account.

The user claimed Amp had been unreachable across multiple platforms.

Eventually a response came stating that Amp had joined the military, raising questions about who was managing his middleman operations.

Rumors circulated that Amp had allowed a known scammer named FeaR to operate his account while he was away.

Staff temporarily banned Amp while they investigated the situation.

Later, Amp’s friend BL contacted him directly and reported back to staff:

So I just got off the phone Riley and he confirmed the following. He went to the military and had his cousin who lives with him take over his deals with his supervision. He assured me that FeaR has never had any affiliation with his accounts or access to them.

Amp doesn't even talk to FeaR and his cousin doesn't even know who FeaR is. All the deals were on amps personal computer, and no other login info was shared with anyone including his cousin. He will be back in December for good and hopes he can return.

He also said if anything where to happen, which he was confident it wouldn't, he would 100 percent resolve any issue if that's worth anything.

After reviewing the situation, OGU staff unbanned Amp, and operations resumed as normal.

The shutdown created immediate backlash.

Many users had purchased ranks, upgrades, and other paid features on the forum. When the site disappeared, those purchases became worthless.

To make matters worse, the site was later revamped, where ranks were sold again but previous purchasers did not receive their upgrades back.

Shortly afterward, the revamped version also shut down.

A simplified timeline of the events:
• OGU database breach
• Amp self-bans from OGU
• Launches http://Usernames.org/
• Sells ranks and site upgrades
• Shuts the forum down
• Relaunches the site without restoring previous purchases
• Sells upgrades again
• Closes the site entirely

This series of events left many users feeling misled or scammed.

Amp’s account was unbanned on OGU, and one of his former forum staff members, Blacklisted (BL) known as https://t.me/bandit was granted Trusted status on OGU.

Rumors quickly spread that Amp had struck a deal with OGU administration.

According to widely discussed claims within the community, the agreement allegedly involved:
• Shutting down http://Usernames.org/
• Transferring the domain to OGUsers administration
• Blacklisted (BL) becoming Trusted on OGU
• Providing funds earned from the forum

In exchange, Amp was unbanned from OGU.

While the exact details of the agreement were never publicly confirmed, the situation sparked accusations of favoritism and corruption from some community members.

On the day he returned, Amp posted the following statement:

Hello members of the community,

I sincerely apologize for the situation and want everyone to know that I did not go into this without thinking of everyone involved.

I was right along side this forum from the day it began, doing deals and being a stand up member of the community during the entire process. Being the first member to hit 1000 vouches and much more.

This agreement was brought forward to me and I strongly felt this was the best choice for myself, and members of the community as a whole.

No one was scammed in this exchange and everything was agreed upon by both parties.

You should understand that you invested into a project and in terms of those investments, those are lifetime of the project which has been discontinued.

Community reaction was mixed.

Some welcomed him back, while others strongly criticized the decision.

Amp joined https://oguser.com/ on the very first day the forum launched. Within a short time he became one of the platform’s most active and reputable members.

On July 6, 2017, Amp officially received Trusted status on https://oguser.com/

His reputation quickly skyrocketed. Amp eventually became the first member in OGU history to reach 1,000 vouches, a milestone that cemented his reputation as one of the community’s most reliable middlemen.

Over time he accumulated thousands of successful deals and built a reputation that few others could rival.

On May 18, 2019, OGU suffered a major database breach, causing significant unrest within the community.

Many users voiced frustration with the situation, including Amp himself. In a thread created by OGU administrator Ace, Amp publicly expressed concerns regarding the breach.

Shortly after, he made a surprising move.

Amp requested a permanent self-ban from OGU and announced he would be launching a competing forum called http://Usernames.org/ (often referred to as “UN”).

Two weeks later, the new forum officially launched.

The platform was designed as a direct competitor to https://oguser.com/ and Amp actively attempted to grow the site’s community. Various tactics were reportedly used during this time, including:
• Paying users to promote the site on OGU
• Attempting to recruit OGU team members
• Giving away paid upgrades and features.

http://Usernames.org/ grew to roughly 8,000–10,000 users, though much of its activity came from members who were already part of the OGU community.

Despite early momentum, the forum struggled to establish a sustainable independent community.

By December 2019, the site shut down without warning.

For the longest time, the community has relied heavily on trusted middlemen to facilitate high-value deals. Few names were as well known or as trusted as Amp.

Once considered one of the most reputable figures in the space, Amp built a reputation spanning over ten years. His bio once read:

I've been offering professional Middleman services for the top social & gaming platforms, currency exchanges, and general online account sales and more since as early as 2012. I have experience with all of the largest platforms and have handled some of the largest valued deals in the business, you can trust me to handle your deal in a professional manner.

For years, many believed exactly that.

But in June 2023, that trust would collapse in one of the most controversial incidents in OGUsers history.
