🔺What is a Bank Apprentice?
A Bank Apprentice is a trainee under the Apprenticeship Program for a fixed period (usually 1 year).

I came across some people unnecessarily criticizing SBI’s recent move to involve branch staff more in sales activities. But honestly, this is a practical step considering how banking is evolving today.

In banking, if there is no business generation, there will eventually be nothing left to operate or service. Sales is an important part of every organization, especially in today’s era of digital banking and AI, where many operational tasks can be automated, but customer relationships and business growth still depend on people.

Instead of reducing jobs due to digitalization, SBI is trying to adapt employees to new responsibilities and future banking needs. Compared to many industries where automation is leading to layoffs, banking is still creating opportunities by reshaping roles.

Every change should not be viewed negatively. In the end, without business and sales, no organization can grow or sustain itself.

IBPS has opened the portal for participating banks to submit their vacancy requirements under the reserve list.

Accordingly, the first reserve list for IBPS PO/SO is expected to be released between 15th to 31st May. The IBPS Clerk reserve list is likely to be released in June.

Candidates are advised to stay updated and regularly check the official IBPS website for further notifications.
