Never forget that you have to risk money in order to make money.

Most of the time a losing trade has a bigger negative mental effect than a winner has positive.

In those losing moments you need to make it clear to yourself that without the risk you consistently put on, you would have also not been able to profit of the winners that you have had.

Have a risk $$ amount that allows you to stay in the long game and keep executing.

91.4% of monthly lows form after the current monthly low.

100% of monthly lows have a bigger wick than the current low.

These warnings are extremely effective when price is located wihtin ranging environments, which we currently are.

I am viewing any pushes up higher as manipulation and will be looking to short the bearish reversal.

I currently see two main scenario's play out on altcoins alongside my bearish expectational orderflow on BTC:

Lots of altcoins have seen confirmed bullish breaks on the push up on the yearly open. I am not expecting these breaks to deliver higher lows and macro bullish reversals.

Anyone that has watched my educational lectures on advanced range theory knows that the first bullish breaks after a prolonged downtrend are often the starting points of higher TF range creations --> where price will simply reverse the bullish move and sweep the low allowing for accumulation opportunities to develop.

In combination with my BTC expectation this establishes scenario 1:

Full reversal of the push up on yearly open allowing for range creation and HTF accumulation opportunities as BTC completes the final target of 74K.

BTC completing the macro distribution with a confirmation of the HTF accumulation model on altcoins and we can see aggressive bullish expansion.

In my small break during christmas and new years I was reflecting a lot on my performance of 2025 and was looking into some old notes from my old notebook.

I found my 'aggresive risk scaling plan' from back in the day of how I scaled my risk from 250 per trade up to 2K per trade relatively fast and maybe it can help some of you.

Mind you, this only works once you have your psychological and technical understanding in check.

Level 1: $250 dollar risk per trade
Level 2: $500 dollar risk per trade
Level 3: $1000 dollar risk per trade
Level 4 4: $2000 dollar risk per trade

In order to increase to the level above I had the following requirements:

- realizing +10RR within that month
- >70% of taken trades = STTP (stick to the plan)
- >70% of taken trades > 4 starrating (rating was based on my own variables at the time)

Each level is connected to a specific month, only after the month is over and requirements are met can you increase to the level above.

The reason this worked is because within my journal the probability of losing 5 trades in a row was extremely small so after the first successfull month you would only be trading with profits.

Let me explain:

Month 1 succesfull = + $2500 minimum (10x 250 risk = $2500)
Month 2 = risk increased to +$500, profit buffer of +$2500 = 2500/500 = 5 trade profit buffer

The same goes for month 3, month 4 etc.

If I lost money within a certain month at a specific level I could maintain that level risk ONLY if I had the STTP and the star rating meeting the requirements. If that was not the case --> decrease to the level below.

It is basically trying to aggressively scale while trading with profits. It worked pretty well for me at the time.

Mind you, back then --> breakout propfirm was not known, nor the same quality as it is today. These days propfirms are a great way to scale capital faster.

In reality it took me 6 months to scale from level 1 to level 4 (4 months being the optimal).

When everyone watches a yearly candle, the result and consequences of the closure is not important.

The manipulation has already taken place and retail has gotten obliterated yet again while we profited shorting every retracement.

The skill is in being able to predict the change in pattern before it confirms.

That is where the real money is made.
