This is the fourth edition of the Nations League and the Hungarian team, sent to Division C in the first edition of the tournament, has come a long way. First, they made it to Division B, from where they were promoted to Division A. At the Euros itself, the national team essentially failed, but did score in 2 out of 3 matches. What is happening to Hungary in this Nations League is hard to explain. In the match with Germany - a complete failure - 0:5, with Bosnia - a dismal draw 0:0. The Magyars need to organise something in attack. At the same time, the team's defence is not ideal, in the qualifying for the Euros the national team conceded in 5 out of 8 matches, at the Euros - in 2 out of 3, and 5 goals from Germany already in the current tournament also speak about the problems in defence.
The Dutch national team has accustomed us to the fact that their matches often turn into a football festival. In Euro qualifying, the average total of matches involving the Oranje was three goals per game. All 4 friendly preparatory games ahead of the tournament - again over the top with a total of 3.75 goals per 90 minutes. At the Euros - 5 out of 6 matches through TB2.5 (exception - the game with the French). In the current draw of the Nations League - super-result matches: a 5:2 victory over Bosnia and a 2:2 draw with Germany. This is just the style of the Dutch national team under Ronald Koeman and nothing can be done about it. Only a very strong national team can impose a different style of play on the Dutch and take the match to a draw (as was the case in the game against France at the Euros). The current Hungarians are not capable of that, rather they will even benefit from getting into a goal shootout and looking for luck in attack.
