The lying Rāfiḍah apologist Daniel Haqiqatjou—may Allah deal with him—has spread an AI-generated recording, falsely attributing statements to Shaykh Sulaymān ar-Ruḥaylī, may Allah preserve him, which he never uttered and is completely free from. In it, he accuses the Shaykh of lamenting the closure of Starbucks in Madinah and claiming that boycotting it due to its alleged support for Israel is impermissible, even portraying such boycotts as injustice and aggression—fabrications and lies falsely ascribed to the Shaykh.

To this, the noble scholar, Shaykh Sulaymān ar-Ruḥaylī, replied:

“كذّابٌ أشرّ، والله ما قلتُ هذا، أسأل الله أن يهديك، فإن لم تهتدِ أن يُرديك.”

“A wicked liar—by Allah, I did not say this. I ask Allah to guide you, and if you do not accept guidance, then may He bring about your downfall.”

May Allah preserve the Shaykh, expose this evil innovator, sever his false tongue, and disgrace him in this world and the Hereafter if guidance is not written for him.

What is legislated for the believing man and the believing woman in the month of Dhul-Qa’dah:

1- That he avoids all wrongdoing, because Dhul-Qa’dah is from the sacred months, and wrongdoing is of three types:

The first: wrongdoing by committing sins, and the most severe of it is associating partners with Allah, which is a tremendous wrongdoing. So it is legislated that the believing man and the believing woman increase their care in abandoning sins in the month of Dhul-Qa’dah more than their care in that in other than the sacred months.

The second: wrongdoing by leaving obligations, so it is legislated that the believing man and the believing woman increase their care in performing the obligations upon them.

The third: wrongdoing against the people, so it is legislated to give attention to avoiding wrongdoing against the people and freeing oneself from it if it is present.

2- That he performs Umrah in Dhul-Qaʿdah if he is able, for it is the best time for Umrah after Ramadan, upon verification.

3- Fasting what is legislated to be fasted in the rest of the months, especially the middle days—the three white days of the month.

4- Being keen upon the acts of worship that a person performs in other than it, such as remembrance of Allah, recitation of the Qur’an, and the rest of the righteous deeds that he is accustomed to.

As for initiating specific acts of worship in Dhul-Qaʿdah merely because it is Dhul-Qaʿdah, then there is no basis for it.

And is it legislated to fast the entire month of Dhul-Qa’dah? This was mentioned from some of the early scholars, but it is an independent reasoning, and there is no specific evidence for it. And the Prophet ﷺ is most knowledgeable of the interpretation of the Qur’an and most eager in obedience to the Most Merciful, and he is for us a model and an example.

No one stands in support of Iran — while it strikes the Gulf countries and Jordan, justifies its actions, or remains silent about its crimes against Muslims in general, and against the Gulf states and Jordan in particular — and then attempts to cover this by claiming that it is standing against the disbelievers and the Zionists — except someone whose heart is darkened, whose creed is corrupt, whose ideology is deviant, or one who combines all of these traits.

“Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan, then follows it with six [days of fasting from [the month of] Shawaal, it will be as if he fasted the entire year.”

Many questions have reached me regarding what is better in fasting the six days of Shawaal: should they be consecutive or separated? And when should one begin?

The answer is: it is permissible to fast them consecutively, and it is also permissible to fast them separately. And it is permissible to begin from the second day of Shawaal or later, as long as six days remain from the month.

What is better is to fast them consecutively, as that is hastening to goodness and racing toward it, and a person does not know what may come up.

As for what is better in beginning them: if there is a benefit in delaying them until people have finished the customary days of Eid—such as participating with family, pleasing their hearts, and not putting people in hardship—then that is better.

But if there is no benefit that outweighs delaying them, then hastening to fast them at the earliest possible time is better.

And the Muslim should beware of procrastination.

The duties of the night of Eid:

Takbeer: “Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illa Allah, wa-Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lillahil-hamd.”

Gratitude: “All praise is due to Allah for having guided us.”

Seeking forgiveness: “Astaghfirullah (I seek Allah’s forgiveness).”

Giving out Zakat al-Fitr.

Standing in prayer at night, the most emphasised of which is Witr: “Do not be like so-and-so who used to pray at night then abandoned it.”

Tonight is the night of the twenty-seventh, and it is the most hopeful of nights for Laylat al-Qadr: it is among the last ten [nights of Ramadan], the remaining seven, an odd-numbered night,

and the Prophet ‎ﷺ exerted great effort in it, gathered his family for the night prayers in congregation, prayed with his companions in congregation, and extended the prayer in it from after Isha until close to Fajr.

A group of the Salaf mentioned that it is Laylat al-Qadr, and a group of those who say that Laylat al-Qadr moves throughout the odd-numbered nights stated that it most often falls on the night of the twenty-seventh, and the evidences for it are more numerous than for the others,

so deprived is the one who wastes it.

Is Zakat al-Fitr to be given in cash?

• The Prophet ﷺ obligated it to be given as food.

• The Prophet ﷺ gave it as food until he passed away, despite the companions’ need for money.

• The companions gave it as food.

• The scholars unanimously agreed on its validity when given as food, but differed on its validity when given in cash—and most of them held it is not valid.

• It is to be given as one sā‘ of any food, even though food prices differ—so monetary value has no role in this.
