📚 WEEK 2 — The Hold-to-Earn Model Explained

Last week we covered what Reality Metaverse is and why it exists. This week we go deeper into the engine that powers everything — the hold-to-earn model — and why it's built to last when so many others weren't.

💀 Why Most Web3 Gaming Models Failed

If you were in crypto during the play-to-earn boom, you saw what happened.

Projects promised players they could earn real money just by playing. For a while, it worked. Players earned tokens, tokens had value, and the ecosystem grew fast.

But there was a fatal flaw. The revenue didn't come from people enjoying the game — it came from new players buying in. The moment growth slowed, token prices dropped. When token prices dropped, the earnings shrank. When earnings shrank, players left. And when players left, the whole thing collapsed.
It wasn't a gaming model. It was a pyramid with a game skin on top.

💡 How Hold-to-Earn Is Structurally Different

Reality Metaverse looked at that failure and built something with a completely different foundation.

The revenue doesn't come from new investors. It comes from players spending money inside games they genuinely enjoy — just like any normal mobile game.

Platform Update - Wheel of Fortune Improvements, Roadmap & What’s Next

We’ve just released multiple Wheel of Fortune spins with full history tracking.

This is a key milestone, as the Wheel of Fortune will be deeply integrated into Events. That’s why it was crucial for us to build this functionality in a fully automated and scalable way.

To give you better visibility into our progress, we’ve also decided to share a simple roadmap image showing what we’re currently working on and what’s already been delivered.

Alongside this release, we’ve rolled out several smaller fixes and improvements:
- Fixed incorrect values in the royalties chart (monthly view) reported by some users
- Improved dynamic backgrounds on mobile
- On Friday, we resolved an issue where some users were unable to spin the Wheel of Fortune — this problem is now fully fixed

What’s next?
Our top priority right now is the Redesigned Staking + VIP Staking system.

🛠 Hotfix Update

We’ve recently deployed two hotfixes addressing:
- An issue where it was impossible to finish listings on the marketplace (blue screen at the final step)
- A missing royalties chart issue

We’re currently working on two additional issues related to the Wheel of Fortune:
- Some users were unable to claim earned RMV if they didn’t hold NFTs purchased from our offers
- Some users experienced issues with spinning after the update released ~10 days ago

For the second issue, we kindly ask affected users to contact us ( https://t.me/stanrealitymeta) and share details — this will help us identify and resolve the problem as quickly as possible, as we’re unable to reproduce it on our test devices and wallets.
