After rigorous selection process arounds across the country, we have officially selected the 31 top teams advancing to the Hult Prize Ethiopia National Finals.
And Here we proudly present the top winning teams from On-Campus programs held at Universities in Ethiopia.

This year’s theme, "Unlimited," challenged our students to break boundaries and solve the most pressing social and environmental issues using the UN Sustainable Development Goals as their compass to represent Ethiopia on the global stage and compete for the $1,000,000 global prize.

On Saturday, Feb 28, 2026, the Hult Prize OnCampus Grand Final was held at ALX Lideta Hub, bringing together student innovators from Addis Ababa Universityand AASTU to present bold solutions addressing real-world challenges. 🌍💡

From AAU, the top teams were:
🏆 #Winner ; Kokeb Academy – AI-powered personalized learning platform tackling high exam failure rates
🥈 1st Runner up ; Veritup – Product verification & safety platform preventing counterfeit consumables
🥉 2nd Runner up ; PULTO – Mobile healthcare trucks delivering essential services to underserved communities

Only 10 days remain.

Thirty-one startups have been selected for the final pitch competition.

April 25 is not a random date; it will be a significant day for entrepreneurs and an insightful moment for the participants.

The Hult Prize has provided an opportunity for more than 18,000 startups to showcase their ideas. More than 130 countries have accessed this opportunity, and over 2,000 universities utilize the Hult Prize to help their students distinguish themselves with their prize-winning business ideas.

There will also be a startup showcase and a youth connect, creating space to explore innovations and build meaningful connections.
