From the border town of Awubare in the Somali region to the forefront of Health-Tech, Dr. Muna Ali is reimagining African healthcare. Inspired by the struggles of women in her community, she founded an AI-powered platform bringing life-saving preventive care to families and the workforce.

Through the EDI-led SEED program, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation and delivered through the Orbit Innovation Hub, Dr. Muna received specialized training, business development support, grants, and access to finance to scale her vision.

The impact is remarkable: having already supported hundreds of cross-border patients and local families, her business has grown its capital, expanded with new branches, created jobs, and signed a key MoU with a major construction company!

Adding to her success, her latest digital health solution recently took first place at the National Digital Health Hackathon!

Ethiopia is moving beyond conventional governance! The Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and Skills (MoLS), has successfully concluded a high-level "Leadership and Future Readiness" workshop for the House of Peoples' Representatives (HoPR).

As the global landscape shifts, our leaders are embracing an entrepreneurial mindset to transform modern challenges into strategic opportunities. Hon. Lomi Bedo, Deputy Speaker of the HoPR, and H. E. Muferihat Kamil, Minister of Labor and Skills, emphasized that innovation is the cornerstone of a resilient nation and a prosperous future.

የሥራና ክህሎት ሚኒስቴር ከኢንተርፕረነርሽፕ ልማት ኢንስቲትዩት ጋር በመተባበር ለተከበሩ የሕዝብ ተወካዮች ምክር ቤት አባላት ያዘጋጀው ይህ ስልጠና ተቋሙን ኢንተርፕረነርያል  የማድረግ ጉዞ አካል ነው።

ዛሬ በጀመረው በዚህ ሥልጠና የምክር ቤት አባላት ኃላፊነታቸውን በዘመናዊ ኢንተርፕረነርያል አስተሳሰብ እንዲመሩና ለተለዋዋጭ ዓለም አቀፋዊ የሥራ አካባቢዎች ራሳቸውን ዝግጁ እንዲያደርጉ ለማስቻል ታስቦ የተዘጋጀ ስልጠና ነው።
