You're either in the THINKER mode or DOER mode at a time.

You don't "do" when you're thinking. You don't "think" when you're doing.

If you spend more time "thinking", you'd do very little, and still feel stressed.

If you spend more time "doing", you'd think very little.

The idea is to think more BEFORE starting something, and very less when you start doing.

Once you start "doing", you have to do so much and so hard that you don't have to "think" again to do.

Your mind, body and soul must be on "autopilot".

No "whats", "whos", "wheres", "whens" or "hows" when you're doing.

And when you're playing against experienced "vampires" and "whales", they'd "eat you up" before your last thinking is complete.

Very few will get this.

A job is less risky than starting a business. A girlfriend is less risky than marriage.

But in the long term, starting a business and marrying are FAR REWARDING.

The reward is in two folds:
1. Compound Interest
2. Personal long term transformation

A job that pays you $5,000/month for 2 years is $120,000 total earnings. That looks huge to many people until you deduct taxes, expenses, etc.

Starting a business with $0, starving & sacrificing for 2 years to build a $1 million company is not only rewarding but actually possible.

On marriage, spending $20,000 on a marriage ceremony and $1000 a month to keep your home seems expensive untill you have three girlfriends who wont commit fully to you but cost you $2000 each to "keep".

The transformation side is real too. Nothing can beat what you become from starting a business from nothing to $1MM valued company. It transforms you internally. Being called up at emergencies to handle wife or children "issues" gives you some experience a single man won't have.

So why don't people start businesses or marry despite all the "goodies" attached to either choice?

The simple answer is FEAR.

You can be rich (relatively) as a professional from your career (if you're lucky).

But there's only ONE true way to be wealthy, which is OWNERSHIP!

To be wealthy, you MUST own something beyond cash or a "safe" job. Something that has a huge value which keeps increasing as time passes.

Few of such thingss are:
1. Shares in a valuable company
2. Bonds
3. Precious metals/natural resources (e.g., Gold)
4. Real estate (e.g., Land)
5. Copyrights / Patents (to a creative work or invention)
6. Cryptocurrency (but with caution).

Which of them you go into depends on age, experience, risk tolerance, source of income, and financial goals.
