A poem that I loved since childhood, I once used to wish I too could have chetak and go to wars
Well, that was a child's wish
But I'd like to reshare that poem here to revive that feeling


रण बीच चौकड़ी भर – भर कर,
चेतक बन गया निराला था।
राणा प्रताप के घोड़े से,
पड़ गया हवा का पाला था।

गिरता न कभी चेतक तन पर,
राणा प्रताप का कोड़ा था।
वह दौड़ रहा अरि-मस्तक पर,
या आसमान पर घोड़ा था।


जो तनिक हवा से बाग हिली,
लेकर सवार उड़ जाता था।
राणा की पुतली फिरी नहीं,
तब तक चेतक मुड़ जाता था।

है यहीं रहा, अब यहां नहीं,
वह वहीं रहा था यहां नहीं।
थी जगह न कोई जहाँ नहीं
किस अरि – मस्तक पर कहाँ नहीं।


कौशल दिखलाया चालों में,
उड़ गया भयानक भालों में।
निर्भीक गया वह ढालों में,
सरपट दौड़ा करबालों में।


बढ़ते नद सा वह लहर गया,
वह गया गया फिर ठहर गया।
विकराल वज्रमय बादल सा
अरि की सेना पर घहर गया।


भाला गिर गया, गिरा निशंग,
हय टापों से खन गया अंग।
बैरी समाज रह गया दंग,
घोड़े का ऐसा देख रंग।

For instance - a factory worker in a Capitalist state
Though the worker sells his work at the rate less than the value he puts in for the industrialist and that's what get converted into the profit of the capitalist,
Yet,the worker might think of this unfairness of exchange quite legitimate quite natural,
Because the state through it's various institutions like school, society, religion, media, publication houses, literature etc etc ,
All these things work in developing in the factory worker the consciousness which allows him to regard his subject position as an exploited labourers to be natural,to be usual and to be expected

And these various institutions through which ideology is developed in an individual that allows him/ her to smoothly fit into the capitalist mood of production is what is referred to as ideological state apparatus

Althusser even gave it's contrast as well
That's repressive state apparatus
which is constituted of police army,law ,court, constitution, prison etc , things by which state controls it's subject through the exercise of violence

Lemme explain Ideology and how ideologies shape the society and human consciousness

Ideology is the world view, consciousness of myself as a social subject, it's how I explain to myself my situatedness within the capitalist mood of production and social structure

Althusser proposes, ideology has a political angle to it, because it acts as an adhesive that relates one to a particular state ( political powers)

Like,in order to make someone a functioning subject of that state ,
The state power needs to situate that person within the capitalist mood of production
In easier words , the state needs to create the role for that individual which would make his/her subjugation to the capitalist mode of production seem not only justified but also eternal and natural

True Ahimsa was never about surrender , it was resistance rooted in Dharma, with Shatrubodh (enemy-awareness) as its guiding strength.

Here, I'd like to share a story of my junior, Prabhat, he lost his father at a young age and started teaching together with his 12th boards to support his family financially, he takes care of his mother and sister like a responsible gentleman at the age of 40 would've been doing.
He also wanted to join the armed forces but fate has different directions for him, yet he's not left that feild wholely ,but his mother fears loosing the apple of her eye

Despite hardships he never stopped, mentally tough , physically trained, and academically well read .

From teaching in schools to now starting a youtube channel is a good initiative that he took, and I ,being a senior and elderly sister figure ,wants him to reach heights
