Carl Jung said,

Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself, or from holding certain views which others find inadmissible.

Loneliness is rarely about empty rooms. It is about carrying words you cannot say and truths you do not feel safe to share.

Healing is learning to speak what matters most so you are no longer alone with it. This is the work of letting yourself be seen and known for who you really are.

Many of us grow up believing that being strong means hiding how we feel. But real strength lies in emotional honesty. Telling someone "I am hurt." "I need support." or "I feel overwhelmed" is not weakness, it is courage. When you show up with truth instead of pretending everything is fine, you give yourself permission to be human. You also allow deeper connections because people see the real you, not the mask you wear. Healing begins when you stop carrying everything alone and let yourself be known. Vulnerability is not a flaw, it is the bridge that builds trust.

Losing people is a part of life🌧. Don't let that affect your present self or your mental state. Sometimes..... life doesn't allow us to create memories with same set of people everytime. But that shouldn't mean that you stop living your life or change yourself to try and be with them. If you can't make new memories...... cherish the ones you already have !. Enjoy the sweet ones, mold the originally bitter ones in your imagination to make them sweeter..... and end the ones that were written halfway. Don't cling onto them. I once read a beautiful quote..... "The Greatest Legacy we can leave behind us is just memories". The question we should ask ourselves is... Can we keep that legacy worth being passed on?

One of the facets of childhood trauma that isn’t nearly as talked about as it should be, is forever missing a hypothetical version of yourself that wasn’t plagued by childhood instability and abandonment. Forever longing for a parallel version of yourself that was given all of the attention a child should receive, and not one that grew up isolated in their bedroom.
