Can I still make money if the market starts crashing?

Absolutely. One of the best things about algo-trading is that a "red" market is just another opportunity. I use Short strategies for exactly these moments.

Why should I check Deals History if PnL is already positive?

PnL shows the final result, but it does not explain how that result was achieved. That is why I always review each deal separately.

🔸 Not the whole picture
A strategy can look profitable overall, while still having unstable entries, deep drawdowns or weak risk control in certain market conditions.

🔸 Real trade insights
In Deals History, you can review entries, exits, timing, and deal outcomes such as take profit, stop loss or trailing take profit. For example, you might notice that most profits come from very long trades or that stop losses trigger too often.

🔸 Smarter improvements
By reviewing individual deals, I can see where entries were late, where drawdowns were too deep, or where risk parameters need adjustment. This helps refine the setup before running it with real funds.

How often should I check my running strategies?

❕ Answer from a GT App Top Trader:

Less often than most people think. If your strategy is set up correctly, you don’t need to watch it all the time.

🔸 Right after launch
When I launch a new strategy, I usually check it more often during the first 1–2 days. I want to see that it opens deals and behaves roughly the way it did in backtests.

🔸 During normal operation
After that, I personally check my strategies once or twice a day. For me, that’s enough. Algorithmic strategies are designed to work automatically, so constant monitoring usually just creates stress.

🔸 Use Telegram notifications
Instead of opening GT App every few hours, connect Telegram and receive notifications about:
• new deals
• closed positions
• important strategy events

🔸 Focus on the bigger picture
Don’t judge a strategy by one deal or one day. Look at performance across a series of trades or over a longer period.
