INSTAGRAM NEW SECURITY UPDATE – IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Instagram has rolled out a strict security update that completely changes how account recovery and login works. Old methods like jacking, reset-link login, and creating old-age accounts no longer function.

1. Reset Links No Longer Work
Reset links now show “Something went wrong” unless you use the same old device, same IP, and same cookies. This blocks reset-based logins on old or jacked accounts.

2. Mandatory Video Selfie Verification
If you log in from a new device, change any account info, or trigger any unusual activity, Instagram instantly locks the account and asks for a video selfie. This cannot be bypassed.

3. Device Match Required
Instagram now checks if the device was used on the account before. If not, it shows “Try another device to continue.” Without the original device, recovery becomes extremely difficult.

4. Old Age Accounts Are No Longer Safe
Any newly accessed old account gets locked as soon as you log in from another device or try editing the information.

Summary
