Reduce-only order parameter is now live on WhiteBIT
This feature solves a very specific problem — accidentally opening a new position instead of closing one.
With the reduce-only parameter, your order can only reduce or fully close a position. No reopens, no unnecessary risk.
It’s especially useful when you have multiple orders active at the same time. Even if one order closes your position earlier, the others won’t open a new one by accident — the system simply won’t allow it.
Available for futures and margin trading. In the app — as an option in Advanced order types, via API — for all order types.
Sometimes control isn’t about complex strategies.
