"The bull market is not over and the fundamentals have not changed. In fact I would argue they've gotten even stronger.

All that happened was price got stretched too far above the long term mean, and sentiment got too bullish. We ran out of new buyers.

Add in the cartel took advantage of the overbought condition and managed to get one more round of suppression in as they were on the brink of having to deliver millions of oz. of physical silver at $120 and oz.

Now as everyone else is getting bearish I'm getting bullish. Price is now oversold. You tell me, based on the chart below, is it a better idea to buy when price is oversold like now, or do you want to chase after many weeks of rally have passed you by?

I'm not saying the bottom has to occur today. But I am saying we are getting close, probably very close and any buy in this zone is going to produce big profits by June and mind blowing profits by Sept."

Gold broke above 4900 and held. It now challenges the next major psychological level of 5100 .... the key level if it is to re-test all time highs in the near future. If it fails here, further consolidation is needed and it risks heading back down toward the trendline.

Silver simply needs to break above 90 to recapture the trendline. If it fails, a lengthier correction is likely, with a retest of the recent lows possible. A break above 90 brings 103 into play.

The next few days are critical."

"2/6 I use the Fair Value of #gold & the gold/silver ratio (currently 61:1) to calculate the FV of #silver, which has demand as an industrial metal & a gold-substitute. There is about 10X more silver than gold in the earth's crust & roughly 10X more silver than gold mined annually by weight, but their historic ratio is about 16oz silver to 1oz gold, not 10:1 as supply alone would suggest. The 16:1 ratio reflects the demand premium given to gold as a purely #monetary metal. Let's assume the ratio fluctuates in a range between 30 (the ratio at silver's 2011 price peak) & 20 to approach the historic ratio.
$11,341 / 30 =$378 per oz silver
$11,341 / 20 =$567 per oz silver
The Fair Value of silver therefore ranges between $378 & $567 based on gold’s FV. "
