The Fatwa Committee has issued a new fatwa concerning the review of fidyah rates, the alignment of fidyah and kafarah rates, and the ruling on compounded fidyah.
This guidance reflects the Islamic principles of ease (al-taysir) and the removal of hardship (rafΚΏ al-haraj) in fulfilling religious obligations.
