Reference pricing for TradFi markets during off-hours trading has been updated according to the logic below.

If the oracle has not been updated for 5 minutes, both the index price and mark price for TradFi markets are computed as follows:

Index_t = β * Index{t-1} + (1 - β) * Impact Mid Price

Where:
• β = e^(-10 sec / 1 hour), implying the index is updated every 10 seconds
• Impact Mid Price = 10-minute EMA of the impact mid price

The maximum deviation of both the index price and mark price from the last known oracle price is capped at: ± 1 / (max market leverage)

As an interim solution to improve the logic and transparency of fair reference pricing for TradFi markets, the oracle price source for all commodities and indices will be migrated to the http://trade.xyz/ Oracle Price today at 14:00 UTC.

In parallel, we are developing a native solution for fair reference pricing of TradFi assets. This model will be based on front and next futures and is expected to go live within the next couple of weeks.
