Long in the works and finally finished... my stack on the coming religious revival, as heralded by a rare outer planet alignment.

Don't get too excited though— not all that glitters is gold. This isn't a new Golden Age, but the late autumn of Spengler's "Second Religiousness", a false renewal born of a desperate and dying civilisation.

Can something genuinely sacred still emerge from it? Yes, but in a quiet and unexpected form.

Just wanted to respond to the disappointment around the use of AI in this film, as I know people have legitimate concerns…

First of all, the trailer is far more AI heavy than the actual film is. There were a number of reasons for why that happened which I wont go into, but the film is probably about 50% real footage and 50% AI or using AI enhancements. We also have a few traditional CGI clips.

Why did we do it like this? Well, not because it was the cheaper and easier route! It’s actually considerably more expensive and far more time consuming than just using stock footage. Our subscription costs for these services ran several hundred dollars a month and it wasn’t uncommon to have to spend 2-3 days finessing a single clip that would only be on the screen for a few seconds.

In past episodes, we’ve relied exclusively on stock footage, and that worked while the episodes were still dealing with primarily with concepts that could be represented abstractly and thematically. But in this episode, we’re dealing with a specific historical time period and that needs to be represented more literally in some cases.

There simply isn’t much stock footage that can fill this gap. Most of what’s available is a bunch of fat modern people at Renaissance festivals, wearing cheap and ill-fitting costumes. They simply don’t have the physiognomy to be convincing in those roles and it looked absolutely ridiculous trying to use them to discuss a subject of seriousness. And even if we had gritted our teeth and used that stuff, it still wouldn’t have been enough to fill 2 hours.

We put considerable time and effort into developing the AI sections, knowing that our audience would have strong opinions about it, and we feel that it is tastefully done. You won’t find any 6-fingered people, for example! This is primarily an artwork, so making it look good was a top priority.

So I hope those of you who feel initially put off by it will keep an open mind and give it a chance. We did our best to make this film artistic and representative of the higher vision Evola tries to convey within the limitations of our budget. It has won awards at multiple film festivals at this point, so hopefully that inspires some confidence in the production quality of the film. 🙏

Presenting the official music video for The Flower Immortelle!

On March 20th, we release The Soul of Chivalry— our award-winning documentary exploring one of the most exciting and profound chapters in Julius Evola’s Revolt Against the Modern World. This film goes deep into the into the esoteric aspects of the chivalric tradition, not as medieval nostalgia, but as a sacred heroic path centred on the spiritual transformation of the knight.

A central theme is the symbolism of the woman— she is both the knight’s muse and his test. She appears in two guises: as the romantic ideal who inspires the warrior to heroic deeds, and as the ultimate crucible of his spiritual mettle, representing both the intoxicating peril of carnal desires and the luminous gateway to divine wisdom and eternal life.

The woman, in the chivalric worldview, is not a passive ornament, but a force. She represents both the abyss and the ascent, the threshold between destruction and transformation. To truly understand chivalry, one must understand this paradox.

In keeping with our tradition for the series, my musical project Überfolk, in collaboration with our friends from France, Il était un ailleurs, have composed an original song to accompany the film, which aims to encapsulate these themes.
