In my recent book, I gave advice to those in the prophetic about not prophesying on variable things like elections. I just became aware of something that was going on in Ghana: a seasoned prophet placed his calling on the line when he was predicting the elections, and it didn't go as he predicted. Now everyone is thinking he might be false or, at worst, fake. Through his page, I saw the man of God stepped down from his priestly duties for a while, which is commendable to show that prophets are not God but men.

Don't be part of those that ridicule or criticise ministers in the prophetic. I remember God telling me, 'Fake or true, don't listen to when prophecies or miracles are discussed in a bad light.' It will definitely affect your flow.

Today, we have people who hate prophets because of how they have been treated by men or women who failed to represent God. These wounds did not come from God; they came from misrepresentation. Just as a Chinese man cannot be an ambassador of Nigeria, a sinner cannot claim to be a prophet when he is not even saved. Representation requires alignment. You cannot represent a God you do not know or submit to.

A prophet who needs a native doctor or informants to get information to prophesy is not even saved. Any prophet who uses fake and false prophecy to defraud people or molest people is not weak; that person is wicked. This is not a mistake; it is deliberate rebellion. Scripture is clear in 1 Timothy 3 that a minister must be blameless in the church and of good report outside the church. When character collapses, ministry is exposed, not attacked.
